Welcome to the Christina Jayne Photography Blog. I am a full time professional Photographer based in Hertfordshire and covering all of the Home Counties.

Here on my blog you can see snippets from the work i do including weddings, commercial work, babies, children, families and maternity sessions both in the Studio and out on location. Happy clients….

After seeing her images Deborah left this lovely comment on my Facebook page:

A big massive thank you to the amazing Christina for our wedding photos and including us on not just her Facebook page but her web site too. This lady is truly amazing. My dad only spoke to Christina about a month before our wedding and she saw me about 2 weeks before the wedding to get some ideas of what we’d like. We’ll all I can say is this lady has got an eye for detail. Some things I never would of thought of to do but Christina has a head full of ideas and all of them amazing. She’s a very sweet lovely lady and on the day she made sure no one went missing, everyone was ready for next shot, she made everyone feel at ease and had a little banter with them all. I honestly cannot fault this amazing lady. I mean come on, how amazing do I look, I never thought anyone could ever take a decent photo of me and yet in every shot I look like a princess. Thank you Christina, you’ll never know how much having you with us truly made our day that extra bit special. Deborah xx

Brett & Deborah get married…

I was asked to be the Photographer for the Wedding of Brett and Deborah in Hertfordshire. Due to ill health Deborah’s father Peter had been assigned the job of finding the right Photographer for the couple. I had met with Peter many times before the big day and Peter knew exactly what they wanted. When I did finally meet Brett and Deborah we got on like a house on fire. The day was so relaxed and I had such a lovely time. Here are some of the shots from the big day….

Happy Client…

After baby Lucas photo session his lovely mum Anne-Michelle went on my company Facebook page and posted this lovely comment:

It was so lovely to see you after all these years and it was great that you were prepared to travel all this way – thank you. I was amazed at the equipment you had and how easy it was for your to assemble. What a wonderful day, we really enjoyed the experience and the results are amazing. You have an eye for detail behind that camera of yours.
Just seen the picture of the little one who is standing but bent over looking through his/her legs in a nappy and I can see when Luca is a bit older we will be coming back for more photos like this! I will certainly be recommending you to friends who also have little ones xxx Thank you once again xxx

She also phoned me to say she just could not choose which images as she loved them all and has decided to purchase the CD of all the images, this is a very popular options for my clients. Thank you so much for the lovely comments from not just you but all the other people who popped over to view the images and I look forward to photographing Luca in the future.

Baby Luca’s mobile photo session…

Yes another little Luca!! This time Anne-Michelle booked me to travel to London to photograph 4 week old Luca. He was a joy to work with and such a calm and contented little fella. Within minutes of Anne-Michelle seeing the images from the shoot she phoned me to say she loved them all and would never be able to choose so ordered the CD of all the images. Toby & Christina’s Wedding Album

Toby and Christina went for a Story Book Album with a beautiful image from their day on the front (perspex) cover and with the leather spine the album looked fantastic, they went for hard boarded pages in gloss which really made the photo’s pop. The couple e-mailed me as soon as the album had arrived with the following:

Christina, we have just arrived home and opened our album… It is absolutely beautiful, it is amazing, it is stunning, we love it. We can not wait to show it to our friends and family. Thank you so much for every thing, you will be highly recommended by us.

It is always lovely to hear how pleased my clients are, not just with the service but with the final product.

Toby & Christina’s Wedding

Toby and Christina had chosen High Rocks as their Wedding venue. I have photographed many, many Weddings here over the years but this was the first one where the Bride would arrive on the steam train that runs behind the venue!! Happy Clients

After baby Oliver came to have his photos taken (see below) I received this lovely comment from his mum Louise:

Christina, I love the photos so so so much, how am I going to choose which ones to have…why did you have to take such good photos!! Louise

In the end Louise just couldn’t decide so like so many others she purchased the CD with all of Oliver’s images on.

I also received this lovely comment after photographing baby Scarlett (see below)

Thank you so much for taking such beautiful pictures of Scarlett!! they are amazing, you made me feel so relaxed and was so calm with my daughter, the props you used were great and scarlett loved the antique pot, i think i might have to buy one myself! thank you so much and I WILL be coming back again for more pictures! Leanne.

I have been extremely busy lately and I am trying hard to keep my blog up to date so be sure to come back soon and check out more of my recent work.

Baby Scarlett

Leanne came along to the Studio with baby Scarlett who was just 10 days new! Scarlett was adorable and the perfect little model for me. As some of you know I have another company page on which people can comment and WOW did the comments come in thick and fast on baby Scarlett’s images, I was overwhelmed to say the least. Here are a few of the the many comments I received: ‘WOW’ ‘Christina I love your photos, you are the next Anne Geddes’ ‘I love your style’ ‘Oh my god, these are amazing’ ‘such beautiful pictures’ ‘Stunning’ ‘oh my god these are gorgeous’ I am glad so many of you liked them, I do love my job. Redhill Riders

I am often photographing bikes. I visited Redhill recently and headed straight for the pump track where I knew I could get some amazing shots of the riders displaying their talents. Here are a few shots from the day, many of which became profile pictures for the riders on facebook with some fantastic comments, one of which said these were the best images they had seen of riders in a long time….
